Harvest Community Church is all about connecting people with God and each other. We believe that making that connection to God is the most important step you can take. That first step begins a lifetime journey of getting to know God and experiencing His love and forgiveness. We have found this new life and we want you to find it for yourself. In the New Testament, Paul describes it this way:
This means that anyone who belongs to Christ has become a new person. The old life is gone; a new life has begun! And all of this is a gift from God, who brought us back to himself through Christ. And God has given us this task of reconciling people to him.
(2 Corinthians 5:17-18 NLT)
Who we are and what we do can be stated very simply. Our vision at Harvest Community Church is:
To be fully devoted followers of Christ, compelled by Christ's love, to intentionally share the love of Christ with every man, woman, and child in our community.
Do we have all the answers? No. However, what we do have is a desire to know God better every day and a commitment to use the knowledge we do have to meet real needs in the lives of men and women in our church and the surrounding community. While we take seriously Jesus' command to provide food, shelter, and clothing , we believe that man's greatest need is a spiritual one. Therefore, everything we do at Harvest focuses on connecting people to God.
